Summer In Sac Photo Contest

We are very excited to announce our Summer In Sac photography contest, sponsored by @mymikescamera and creative partners @goodinc!

This photo contest is inspired by the fun, exciting, and always very hot summers in Sacramento. We’re challenging you to capture an image that best represents what summer in Sacramento means to you!

Whether it’s a day on the river, a picnic in the park, or fireworks on the 4th of July, we encourage you to get creative and show off your photography skills!

All images submitted must have some sort of summer element to them to be considered a part of the contest.

Photo Contest Guidelines:

Starting June 24th –  August 19th post a photo to Instagram with the tag #SummerInSac22 (Instagram Only)

Tag @SacMag @MyMikesCamera @GoodInc in your post on Instagram!

We will be selecting a First, Second and Third place winners that will be receiving individual prizes, all three winning images will also be shared in an upcoming issue of Sacramento Magazine.

1st Place Winner: $100 @MyMikesCamera Gift Card
2nd Place Winner: $50 @MyMikesCamera Gift Card
3rd Place Winner: $50 @MyMikesCamera Gift Card

Summer In Sac Photo Contest Rules

• All entries submitted in the tag #SummerInSac22 will be judged by our magazine editing team. Photo entries will be judged based on the image quality, composition, use of color and tone, and overall creativity. The judges will be selecting the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
• All entries must be posted with the #SummerInSac22 tag between the dates of June 24th – August 19th.
• Unlimited number of photo entries allowed
• Old images can be used, but must be newly posted to qualify for the contest.
