Disgraced South Carolina attorney Alex Murdaugh, charged with defrauding former legal clients out of nearly $8.5 million since the still unsolved murders of his wife and son, allegedly fronted more than $110,000 to secure the purchase of a Georgia funeral home in 2020, according to court documents.
