The California State Fair & Food Festival gets underway July 14 with all the fun favorites including concerts, competitions, livestock pavilions, exposition halls, giveaways, art and photography exhibits, beer and wine, cooking (and eating) challenges, tastings (so much food!) and, of course, wild rides (gentle ones, too).
