Former Venezuelan spy chief denies smuggling over 6 tons of cocaine into Mexico, US

Retired Maj. Gen. Hugo Carvajal of Venezuela has pleaded not guilty to charges alleging he smuggled 12,300 pounds of cocaine into Mexico, which eventually made its way into the U.S.
