David Letterman visits 'Late Night,' going back to the slot where he most belonged

Like a lot of people who discovered David Letterman in high school and college, I didn't quite know what to make of him at first. But a girlfriend (who was in hindsight a lot cooler than I ever was) insisted he was a genius and that I had to stay up and watch.
