China-dominated bloc offers Iran, Saudi Arabia membership in move that seeks to undermine US

The BRICS economic bloc has agreed to add six members, thereby doubling its total membership. New members would include Iran, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Ethiopia and Argentina.
